About Dr Jonathan Akpan - The Proprietor
Dr. Jonathan Akpan is a suave personality with
a life-long ambition of constantly equipping the young ones for tomorrow’s challenges. This was the driving force behind the establishment of Access International Schools some years ago. What started as a dream has materialized into an instrument of not only shaping futures from the cradle, but also sustaining many families through job creation and talent development, which Access International stands for.
Born in the ‘60s in Akwa Ibom State in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria, Akpan is an electrical engineer of repute cum educationist who has translated his wealth of experience into furthering the cause of producing stars from the scratch.
This achiever of sorts had worked in several blue-chip companies before venturing into private business with which he aims to continuously affect his community, the nation and the world at large through cognitive, affective and psychomotor improvement of the child.
What is more, Jonathan is a chronic philanthropist. He has awarded scholarships to over 25 children in his immediate community in addition to providing accommodation to countless number of people.
These rare feats have opened a floodgate of awards and recognition bestowed on him. As at the last count, he has a number of awards and recognition in his kitty and they include:
